Artist Bio

Nikolette Jones is an artist and teacher with a Bachelor of Education, specializing in French immersion education. She grew up in Ardrossan, Alberta and currently resides in Edmonton. She finds her inspiration in pop culture and literary works and uses a variety of media to create paintings, illustrations and home decorations.

She has illustrated Canadian author Shawn Bird's Nikki Knox book series, has created several commissioned artworks for other writers, and is available for additional custom artwork, private art lessons, and virtual or in-person paint parties or workshops. Recently, she has taken up book formatting and, together with bestselling author Kat Flannery, designed and created the front cover, back cover, and interior of a motivational journaling book entitled Just Be YOU by Emma Wood. Her most recent project is teaming up with her longtime friend, Mark Leslie, as the cover artist, illustrator and French-language translator for his short story series Snowman Shivers.
